In past years a number of incentive programs have been conducted
by the International Assocation of Jim Beam Bottle & Specialties Clubs,
basically to increase membership. Gifts were awarded to members who
recruited and signed up a specified amount of new members. At one
point the Association reached a membership of over 21,000 with clubs in
the United States, divided into 10 Districts plu District 11 for all clubs
outside the continental US and District 12 for Austraila.
In 1978 special membership awards were given to the top three
clubs with the largest net gain and the top seven clubs with the highest
percentage gains.
